The Progress (Updated Weekly)

Week 1: Our team began this project by demoing the existing kitchen. The team finished quicker than anticipated. As a result, our team was able to get a head start on the framing.

Week 2: Our team completed the remaining framing early on in the week. Rough plumbing was then completed by our plumber by the middle of the week. Our schedule allowed for us to have the electrician and HVAC tech come out earlier and finish the rough electric and rough HVAC.

Week 3: This week started with us getting the kitchen inspected for framing, rough electric, and rough plumbing. After all inspections were passed we then installed insulation on the same day. The Drywall team began and completed their Drywall installation. Ours painters then applied primer and the 1st coat of paint to the walls. We are now a full week ahead of schedule. Cabinetry has been delayed 3 weeks due to COVID-19.

Week 4: This week our team installed flooring in the kitchen and entry way. The remaining floor on the first floor was then sanded and refinished.

Construction has been halted due to COVID 19. Cabinetry was delivered during the no work order.

Week 5: Now that construction is permitted to resume, our team began with the installation of cabinetry. While the carpentry installed the cabinetry our electrician completed his installation of light fixtures, outlets and switches. After completing the cabinetry installation our carpentry team began the installation of trim. The week closed out with a countertop template.

Week 6: This week our carpentry team completed the installation of trim allowing for the final coat of paint to be applied. The week ended with the countertop being installed. All appliances were put in place and connected.

Week 7: This week began with all plumbing fixtures being installed. Then the tile installer began prepping for the tile install.

Week 8: This week began with all HVAC accessories being installed. The tile installer then began and completed his installation for the backsplash and fireplace surface. Project is now ready for all final inspections.
